- Issue: A client says they can’t access their files.
- Solution: Check the invoice status. If it’s still “Unpaid” and you’ve required payment for deliverables, they will not be able to access the files. Once you mark the invoice as “Paid” (or they pay online), access will be granted automatically.
- Issue: My CSV client import failed.
- Solution: Ensure your CSV file has, at a minimum, columns with the exact headers name and email. Also, make sure every client row has a valid, unique email address.
- Issue: The AI invoice creator misunderstood my request.
- Solution: Try being more specific. Include clear details like the client’s full name, specific dollar amounts, and clear descriptions for each line item. For example, instead of “Invoice Bob for the photos,” try “Invoice Bob Hyatt $300 for 5 corporate headshots.”
- Issue: I’m getting a warning about a blacklisted client.
- Solution: When adding a client via CSV import or manually, the system may check the email against a public blacklist of known fraudulent actors. You will be warned but can choose to proceed with adding the client if you wish.
